Estimates are modeled, not measured. Actual temperatures vary with depth, wind mixing, and recent weather — verify conditions before swimming, boating, or heading onto ice.
Wisconsin DNR fisheries survey
Fish population survey
Structured LakeList extraction from the 2024 DNR fisheries survey. Population estimates, density, and catch-rate indices use different units, methods, and scopes, so each value is presented in its original form rather than normalized against a different measure.
Management contextLake-specific 2024 comprehensive survey. Gear-specific SN1 and SE2 counts/CPUE retain their separate 88-net-night, one-mile all-species and four-mile gamefish scopes.
DNR found abundant bluegill, moderate black-crappie, northern-pike and largemouth-bass populations, and very low common-carp abundance.
The LakeList target has no WBIC; migration requires the exact reviewed UUID plus WI, name and Columbia County, while source WBIC 843400 remains report provenance.
Conflicting bluegill SN1 PSD-7 values, black-crappie memorable-size indices, northern-pike PSD values and a malformed pike length row in Table 6 are excluded rather than reconciled.
Historical comparison rows, management thresholds and calculated-but-unprinted values are excluded.
