Management contextThe report combines Lake Namekagon and navigably connected Garden Lake as one managed waterbody. Fish-survey values cover the report-stated 2021 or 2019/2021 samples, the recruitment metric covers the 2022 fall survey, and creel values cover the 2021-2022 fishing season; no metric is relabeled as Namekagon-only where the report uses combined scope.
The 2021-2022 assessment found a high-density, naturally reproducing adult walleye population, a stocked low-to-moderate-density trophy muskellunge fishery, stable black crappie, low-abundance bluegill and largemouth bass, and moderate northern pike and smallmouth bass opportunities.
- The names Namakagon and Namekagon are used interchangeably by the report; LakeList retains its canonical Namekagon spelling and the exact DNR waterbody code.
