Management contextLake-wide comprehensive surveys conducted from 2022 through 2024; annual, gear, age-class, origin-classification and population-estimate scopes remain explicit.

DNR documented a diverse self-sustaining fishery, estimated adult walleye and muskellunge abundance, identified declining northern-pike abundance, and reported strong perch and quality bass samples.

  • The pumpkinseed total and its printed gear subtotals are arithmetically inconsistent; only source-reported CPUE and size statistics are promoted.
  • Small-sample caveats for burbot and white bass are preserved by sample scope; no population inference is made.
  • Historical comparator values, percentiles, stocking history and recommendations are excluded from current-survey numeric metrics.
